Integrated ERP & Business Intelligence System for EUROSTATUS INSURANCE S.A.
The Company
EUROSTATUS INSURANCE S.A. was founded in 1987, creating insurance solutions that cover every need and provide security, protection, care, privileges and services. After a successful collaboration with Alpha Insurance A/S from Denmark, the company now represents the Alpha Group in Greece. One of its key priorities is to build a strong relationship with customers and associates based on respect and trust, offering valuable products, efficient solutions, personal contact and superior service.
The Challenge
Within the framework of an organized effort of process improvement, and for the purposes of timely and accurate operational management and effective decision making, the issue of information systems’ upgrading was put forward. The information environment of EUROSTATUS INSURANCE S.A. is quite complex, imposing the adoption of a system that would:
- Enhance day-to-day operations, minimizing bureaucracy while preserving accuracy and quality of service.
- Enable continuous monitoring and strategic decision making through tailor-made Business Intelligence services.
- Provide unlimited capacity for geographic and functional expansion using web-based remote activities, decentralized document management, cloud technology and multilevel security.
The Project
Two key resolutions were implemented:
- NAVins for Microsoft Dynamics NAV — an ERP solution specially designed and adapted for EUROSTATUS INSURANCE S.A., fulfilling all modelling needs of its business entities and encompassing the whole set of its operational requirements.
- QlikView Business Intelligence System — a dynamic information framework providing strategic and managerial groups with insights drawn directly from the raw data stored in NAVins.

- Multilingual — enabling expansion in every country where the company potentially conducts business.
- Dynamic multilevel security — enforcing multi-level approval procedures and dynamically manageable rules.
- Immediate information distribution across all functional subsystems, from contract issuance to general ledger administration.
- QlikView reporting — a series of reports based on NAVins data, allowing users to create their own reports in a dynamic, user-friendly environment.

Regarding the project timeframe: data migration & implementation was completed and the system went live in 1 month, with smooth operation achieved after 2 months from go-live.
